Course Descriptions:
The Electrical Technology program offerings are designed to prepare students for the vast opportunities that exist in the electrical field. Students take classes in Electrical Construction I and Electrical Construction II, Circuits I and Circuits II, Basic Troubleshooting, Industrial Safety and Mechatronics. 
Students will learn electrical theory, how to use the National Electrical Codebook (NEC), Hand and Power tool safety, residential wiring systems, conduit bending, motor control wiring, and other task associated with business and industry requirements.

Some classes are dual-credit offered through Gateway Community and Technical College. Co-op job opportunities are available for students who meet the district requirements and multiple certifications are available for students to attain. 
SkillsUSA represents all Career and Technical Schools throughout the United States at the high school and college level.  It is an organization that allows students to compete in every course available.  As a group we try to be a 100% chapter meaning that every student is involved.
