- Weathering is the wearing or breaking of rock into sediment. It is destructive because the rock is broken or removed.
- Erosion is the moving or transport of rock/sediment. It is destructive because the rock is broken or removed.
- Deposition is the dropping of rock/sediment into a new location. It is constructive because rock is being added to a new place.
New to You Landforms:
- U shaped Valley- valley formed by a glacier (similar to a canyon)
- Butte- a desert landform that has steep sides and a flat top (sometimes called pedestals)
