GCHS CHAMBER CHOIR ENSEMBLES EARN PROFICIENT
Kudos to the GCHS Choir!
On Saturday, February 23, 2014, the Grant County High School Chamber Choir members performed in the Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) District 6 Solo and Ensemble Festival adjudication event held at Cooper High School in Boone County. Solos and Ensembles is a voluntary event inviting school choral groups and soloists to perform before a panel of judges for a score and constructive comments. The event provides opportunities for both growth and for recognition. For this event (Feb. 23) the GCHS Chamber Choir was divided into two separate ensembles, with each group receiving a Proficient score! Also, Miss Cassidy Lacey performed in the solo event and was awarded a Distinguished score!Choral students participating in the two ensembles included:
