Family Resource Center
The Family Resource Center (FRC) is here for ALL Sherman students! It serves two main purposes: 1. provide educational, fun programming and 2. support students & their families! FRC programs are always free! Most require sign ups in advance in order to be prepared. The FRC can also assist families with basic needs and connect them to community resources. Some assistance available includes: school supplies, clothing, shoes, food, hygiene items, mental health referrals/resources, health referrals/resources, and early childhood development information.

Attendance Protocol
• 3-day letter mailed
• 3-4 days phone call home
• 5-day letter mailed
• 6-dayhome visit
• 9 day unexcused truancy letter
Parent/guardians have 6 days of excused parent notes each school year.
After 10 doctor's notes, parents must have an additional Medical Excuse form completed with their doctor's notes. Medical Excuse forms are given out in the front office.
Communication is key! If your student misses school, please call the front office or message your student's teacher so they know what's going on.
