Dear Parents –
The ever-changing news regarding COVID-19 certainly has everyone pre-occupied, frenzied, and perhaps even a bit alarmed, as we grown-ups consider and address the many changes going on around us. Please don’t forget what impact this may have on your kids when they see you are worried, or if the TV continues to blare in “crisis mode”.
Our counselors have put together a couple sheets that may be helpful reminders of things you can do intentionally to alleviate some of the unintentional stress. Also, they are making their contact numbers and other resources available. Please take a minute to review the documents located here and on our website. Also, If your student has School Based Therapy each agency will be contacting you to set up options modes of therapy (telehealth, in home, or office based therapy) during this time.
