COVID-19 UPDATE: April 2, 2020 - 7:30 p.m.
Changes to Meal Distribution / NTI Extended
Dear Parents and Stakeholders:
We have 2 more important notices to share with you today.
First, starting Monday, April 6, our meal distribution will transition again, this time, to "pick-up only". This is made necessary as the result of a positive COVID-19 test result from a member of our transportation team. (See Communication #10).
On Monday, meals for next week may be picked up anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. MCE and DRE area families should pick up at Grant County High School; while CMZ and SES area families should pick-up at Sherman Elementary.
At the GCHS and SES distribution sites, we request that families remain in their cars and simply pop their trunks. They should indicate the number of children under 18 in their household, and the appropriate number of meals will deposited in their trunk.
Second, Governor Beshear announced today that there would be no in-person instruction at least through Friday, May 1. We will work to continue NTI instruction through that time.
