The GCMS Combined 7th and 8th grade choirs, under the direction of Jessica Proffitt, and accompanied by Elsa Blake, received an overall Distinguished rating for the 5th year in a row at KMEA Choral Assessment held on March 27th, 2019, at Cold Spring Baptist Church.
This year, however, was the first that they received Distinguished ratings from every judge, and a perfect score on their sight singing selection. This is an amazing accomplishment for the choir.
