GCHS Athletics Welcomes New Coaches
January 31, 2023

The Grant County High School athletic department will have a couple of new faces on the sidelines for 2023.   Grant County High School announced last week a new head baseball coach, Rocky Tucker, and a new head football coach, Josh Cole.

Coach Tucker is gearing up for the spring season, not a new face to the diamond, Coach Tucker has been the Grant County High school freshman coach for several seasons.  Coach tucker has over 20 years of baseball coaching experience and is looking forward to leading the Braves in his new role.   Coach Tucker shares, “I am very excited to be Grant County’s new Varsity Baseball Coach. This is a team full of talent and determination that I hold a special bond with.”  Coach Tucker lives in Crittenden with his wife, Michelle, and their children.

Coach Cole is beginning to work with the football program this off-season leading up to the 2023 season.   Coming to us from East Jessamine where he served as an assistant, Coach Cole is looking forward to making our community proud. “I want to be a part of the community and make our community proud of our football team.” He shares.  Coach Cole currently lives in Richmond with his wife, Ashley, and their children.

We are excited to see our Braves compete in the upcoming seasons and place their mark on Grant County High School Athletics.  We hope to fill the stands at each home game to show our student-athletes our support.   We hope to see you there!
