Students can earn Respect points for their team by using appropriate language, following directions, allowing others to learn, and making good choices each day.
The team that earns the MOST Respect points by March 19th will celebrate with a pizza party during Tribe Time! 🍕

Girls Soccer Info ⚽️

Eighth grade students in Ms. Machal's class explored an important scientific question: Do plants have genetic material like animals? Students first observed a video demonstrating the isolation of genetic material from fish eggs. They then designed and carried out their own investigation to break open strawberry cells and determine whether the same type of material could be isolated from plants. By extracting genetic material from strawberries, students confirmed that plants, like animals, also contain genetic material. The class concluded the activity by discussing their results and reflecting on how scientific investigations help us better understand genetics.

Reminder NO SCHOOL MONDAY!!!!!
