MAP stands for Measures of Academic Progress.  In Grant County Schools, MAP assessments are given three times each year in Reading and Math to do exactly that -- to measure the academic progress of each and every student.  The data provided by each assessment helps identify strengths and weakness, and is shared with parents as shown below.   

The parent letter should serve as a tool for parents to open dialogue with teachers so all stakeholders can work together to ensure growth.
