Preschool Enrollment is now OPEN for 2026 / 2027 school year.
Who can qualify for Preschool?
A child who meets the following guidelines can attend preschool:
· Lives in Grant County, and
· Is 4 years old on or before Aug. 1 , and
· Falls under Federal income guidelines
Or if the child:
· Lives in Grant County, and
· Is 3 or 4 years old
· Meets eligibility requirements as a child with a disability

If you are interested in preschool for your child for the 2026 /2027 school year please contact the Grant County Board of Education at 859-824-3323 to speak with the preschool department. You can also complete the preschool information form Preschool information form and someone from the preschool department will get in contact with you.
2025 - 2026 Preschool Schedule
Students will attend 4 /1/2 days (Monday - Thursday). There will be an AM and PM class.
There is no mid-day bus transportation at this time.

Preschool screenings: happen throughout the school year for children who are 3 and 4 years old. The screenings look at child development in the following areas: Motor, Self-Help Adaptive Behavior, Concepts, Language / Speech Sounds and Social & Emotional Behavior.

Dolly Parton Imagination Library is for children who are under the age of five. Once registered your child will receive 1 book a month until they are five years old. Please visit the website for more information and to register.
