Grant County Schools Announces New Director of Pupil Personnel and Assistant Superintendent
Grant County Schools is proud to announce that Mr. Dustin Plunkett has been named our new Director of Pupil Personnel (DPP) and Assistant Superintendent. Mr. Plunkett has been a dedicated member of the Grant County Schools team since 2011, serving the past fourteen years at Grant County Middle School.
Mr. Plunkett brings a wealth of experience, a passion for education, and a deep commitment to the students and families of our district. Reflecting on his new role, he shares:
“I’m incredibly excited to step into the role of Director of Pupil Personnel and Assistant Superintendent for Grant County Schools. Having spent my entire career within this district, I bring with me a strong love for our schools, a deep understanding of our students' and families' needs, and a commitment to doing the real, meaningful work that makes a difference. My time at GCMS taught me the power of relationships, consistency, and always remembering why we do what we do.”
In this new position, Mr. Plunkett is most looking forward to broadening his impact across the district. From improving attendance to strengthening student support systems, he is passionate about creating opportunities that help all students thrive.
