We are excited to announce that Dry Ridge Elementary Family Resource Center Coordinator Marianne Smith has been named the SERC-NAHRO (Southeastern Regional Council of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials) Commissioner of the Year!

In addition to her role serving students and families at Dry Ridge Elementary, Marianne serves as Board Chair of the Housing Authority of Dry Ridge, where she works alongside Housing Authority Director Dione Kinman to provide leadership and support for the organization.

SERC-NAHRO represents public housing and community development professionals and commissioners from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. The organization's Commissioner of the Year Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, service, and dedication to advancing affordable housing throughout the region.
