Food Pantry Distribution today from 4:30-5:30 PM at Grant County High School. Call (859) 824-9739 by 3 PM to schedule an appointment.

Grant County Career and Tech Center will be hosting a STEM Camp on Saturday November 8th from 9:00-1:00 for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. TSA, SkillsUSA and Robot Gladiator League students will lead the camp. All participants will receive a t-shirt and lunch will be provided. Registration closes on 10/25/25. Check out the flyer for more information.

Communication Plan Update
Beginning Monday, October 6, CMZ will make a change in how we communicate with families.
The Thrillshare app will still be used by the district to communicate with all Grant County families regarding district-wide news and events. Please continue to use Thrillshare to upload parent notes and doctor's notes for absences.
However, CMZ will once again use Class Dojo for school communication and behavior expectations. After the first months of school, we have learned that Class Dojo provides an easier platform to connect with families and want to ensure you have the best experience!
Families will receive a code from their teacher to join, please be sure to download the free Class DoJo app to stay connected.

DETAILS
To kick off October, we will be having pumpkin day on October 1st. Wear something with a pumpkin on it or wear an orange shirt.
Also, picture day is on 10/2. Every student will have their picture taken. Proofs will be sent home after pictures in a couple weeks.
🍎✨ Today was Apple Day in Kindergarten! ✨🍎
Ms. Matteson’s class got to taste yellow, green, and red apples, and we did lots of fun apple-themed activities throughout the day. 🍏🍎💛
To wrap up, we ended with Fun Friday — watching a movie together and enjoying popcorn! 🍿🎬
