✨ Today was Community Helper Day in Kindergarten! ✨ Our class had the chance to meet real firefighters, EMTs, and police officers. 🚒🚑🚓 The students loved exploring their vehicles, hearing the sirens, and learning all about how these helpers keep us safe. It was such a fun and memorable day for our kinders! 💙

Crittenden-Mt. Elementary would like to thank the Grant County Fair Board and Grant County Fair winners for the AMAZING donation to our school. Thank you! We would not be able to help so many students and families without the wonderful donations we receive.

We sent thru Infinite Campus and sent out our Terroristic Threatening Letter.
We have to send this out every year.
Grandparents Night this Friday 6-7:30 PM Come out for crafts, cookies, and making memories!

Hello parents and guardians,
Starting on Monday, teachers will be using ClassDojo to monitor and track behavior data (both positive and negative). A weekly report will be sent home on Fridays. If there are any major concerns, teachers will still communicate via email, phone call, or the Thrillshare app. Thank you!
Book fair is going to be next week!
Students will have a chance to shop when they come in for their library class.
We are cashless again this year. So in order for your child to shop you will need to set up an ewallet for them. I will post a link that you can copy and paste into a web browser to set it up.
Grandparents night will be next Friday night the 12th from 6-7:30. There will be cookies and crafts and the book fair will also be open if anyone would like to shop.

Elementary Comprehensive Counseling Program
Dear Parent/Guardian of a CMZ Eagle,
Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! If this is your first experience at Crittenden Mt. Zion Elementary, we’re so glad you’re here. If CMZ has been your home, we’re so glad you’re back!
I wanted to let you know that our school is fortunate to have a Comprehensive School Counseling Program that strives to support the social emotional growth and development of our students. As part of that program, students have the opportunity to meet in small groups or individually throughout the school year with one of our counselors: Ms. Gena or Mrs. Sheshull. Your student may be referred by a teacher or may just want to check in with one of us to talk about making good choices, forming friendships, calming strategies, problem solving, emotion regulation or anything else that might be on their mind. As school counselors, we may employ art, books, games, drawing/writing, building or just simple conversations as we strive to support the social emotional needs of our kiddos so they’re more equipped to take on everyday academic challenges and focus on becoming respectful, responsible and productive citizens.
If you ever have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to me at:
