We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone together in person and continue making the rest of the school year just as meaningful!

❄️ SNOW DAY FUN ❄️ Sherman students have been playing in the snow, helping on the farm, helping clear driveways, crafting, helping around the house, playing board games, and SO much more!

Monday, January 26, 2026 Grant County Schools will be closed. The day is a traditional snow day. Please stay safe and keep warm! We hope we can see everyone soon!
** Our call system is currently experiencing carrier delays due to the winter storm. You may not receive your call in a timely manner. Please share so everyone is aware of our closure. Thank you!**

Afterschool Art #5 🎨 Our artist of the month is Pablo Picasso! We learned a little bit about how he used color to create meaning and his cubism art movement! Then we designed disco balls and cubism portraits! Mrs. Hamilton made copies of the disco balls and there will be a group disco ball mural in the hallway in the near future! Woot woot! 🪩

“We Are 100 Days Brighter!”
📅 Next Wednesday, January 28th, will be our 100th day of school.
Students may celebrate by either:
✨ Wearing 100 things (buttons, stickers, small items attached securely, etc.) OR
👵👴 Dressing like they are 100 years old
❄️ Weather Note: If we have a traditional snow day, we will adjust our celebration to match the official 100th day of school. We will keep families updated if any changes are needed.
Thank you for helping us make this day fun and memorable!

1/13 Our Garden Club met right before it decided to turn cold again! It was just decent enough for the kids to spend some time outside cleaning out the raised beds. We also discussed seasonal produce. 🥬🍅🍎🥦

Friendly Reminder: Robotics is TODAY (1/14) from 3-4:30 PM. The meetings will be a bit longer going forward since the coding is taking a lot more time to get down. 🤖Coach Webster

Today, your child’s 2nd quarter report card will be sent home. Later this week, on Wednesday, families will also receive Family MAP reports along with the Helping Children Learn newsletter.
Please know that anytime student progress information is shared, you are welcome to request a parent meeting if you would like support in understanding the information or have questions about your child’s progress. We value our partnership with families and are happy to meet with you.
Thank you for your continued support of our students and our school.
