Notification of Date Change: Our food pantry distribution previously scheduled for Tuesday will now occur next Thursday, 11/13, from 4-5:30pm. We invite you to join us for our Parent Advisory Meeting on Tuesday, November 4th at 6 PM in the Sherman Library (enter front office doors). This meeting is for ALL Sherman parents/guardians and it is a great opportunity to stay informed, share your ideas, and be part of important discussions that help shape our school community. Please see the attached agenda. Your voice matters, and we value your input as we work together to make Sherman the best it can be for our students and families. We hope to see you there!
This meeting will be followed by a Parent Meeting for Families of Children with Special Needs (also in the Library). This is an opportunity for families to connect and build a supportive community.

Today was the second meeting of our third grade Student Nutrition Advisory Council (S.N.A.C.)! Students taste tested and evaluated LOTS of potential cafeteria menu items with Mrs. Livingood, Mr. Tim, and Mrs. Stephanie! Pizza and cheese bites were a big hit! 🍕

This morning, our fire alarm went off unexpectedly. All students and staff evacuated the building immediately and followed our safety procedures exactly as practiced. The local fire department quickly arrived onsite and confirmed that the building was safe to re-enter. We are proud of how calmly and efficiently our students and staff responded during the event. Their cooperation ensured that everyone remained safe throughout the process.
