2000 Graduate, Dr. Emily Kenner
Dr. Kenner works for the Kidney and Hypertension Center at St. Elizabeth Healthcare as an Internal Medicine, Nephrology doctor. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 2004 from the University of Louisville. She completed her residency at the University of Louisville Internal Medicine program in 2011. She then received her American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Nephrology from the University of Cincinnati for Fellowship in Nephrology in 2013. Dr. Kenner enjoys spending time with her family and children. She especially enjoys supporting her children in their many activities and talents. Dr. Kenner was the 2022 Grant County Education Foundation Distinguished Alumni. - Nominated by a friend

2022 Graduate, Summer Pauly
Summer is a mother to 1 year old daughter, Lainey. Summer is a professional apprentice jockey and barrel racer who has gained recognition in the horse racing world. She has raced at some of the top tracks including Turfway park and Keenland and held the leading apprentice jockey title last season at Belterra Park. Look for her name on the racing program. Belterra park meet starts May 1st and is a fun track to go and cheer on one of our Grant County alumna.- Nominated by a Family Member

At tonight’s special called board meeting (April 16, 2026), the Grant County Board of Education approved changes to the 2025–2026 school calendar.
The last day of school for students will now be Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
Graduation for Grant County High School seniors will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026.
Updated calendars will be posted on the Grant County Schools website tomorrow, April 17.
