Afterschool Art #5
When? Thursday, January 22, 2026
Time? 3:30 - 5 PM (Students stay after school and a snack is provided!)
Project? disco balls artwork & cubism portraits (inspired by Picasso)
This program is limited to 20 students. If this program fills up, no worries! There will be other Afterschool Art opportunities in the future!

1/13 Our Garden Club met right before it decided to turn cold again! It was just decent enough for the kids to spend some time outside cleaning out the raised beds. We also discussed seasonal produce. 🥬🍅🍎🥦
Friendly Reminder: Robotics is TODAY (1/14) from 3-4:30 PM. The meetings will be a bit longer going forward since the coding is taking a lot more time to get down. 🤖Coach Webster
Today, your child’s 2nd quarter report card will be sent home. Later this week, on Wednesday, families will also receive Family MAP reports along with the Helping Children Learn newsletter.
Please know that anytime student progress information is shared, you are welcome to request a parent meeting if you would like support in understanding the information or have questions about your child’s progress. We value our partnership with families and are happy to meet with you.

Food Pantry Distribution: Food Pantry today from 4-5:30 PM. Pick up is at Grant County High School (3987 Dixie Hwy, Dry Ridge, KY). Must have a child in 1 of 6 Grant County Schools to attend. Call (859)824-9739 ext. 4233 before 3 PM to make appointment. Must have appointment to attend.

Background Check Day is THIS Wednesday, January 7th from 8:30 AM-3 PM! You will need your valid driver's license and $10 (exact cash or check). Background Checks are required for volunteering, chaperoning field trips, and participating in organizations such as boosters or PTT.
