Preschool Phase-in Day ❤️🐎💙 Today, we welcomed our littlest learners and their families to meet the teachers, see their classroom, meet their classmates, and explore! Sherman AM Preschool will officially start on Monday, August 31st!
Our next Background Check Day will be NEXT Wednesday, September 2nd from 8:30 AM - 3 PM! You will need your valid KY driver's license and $10 (cash or check) to complete a background check. Message Mrs. Hamilton if you would like to schedule an appointment. Appointments help us to be prepared, however, walk-ins are welcome during the allotted time.
Our Teacher Supply Shelf is STOCKED!
A HUGE thank you to Sherman Church of Christ for their incredibly generous donation of school supplies for our teachers at Sherman Elementary!
These supplies are already being put to good use… as you can see, the shopping has officially begun!
We are so grateful to have community partners who support our teachers and help make sure they have the supplies they need to do what they do best!

Safety is always a priority at Sherman Elementary. Today, our students participated in safety drills, and they did a great job! Students listened carefully, followed directions, and demonstrated our schoolwide expectations throughout the drill.

Family Wellness Night

5:30 - 7 PM
This FREE event is intended for all Sherman students preschool through 5th grade and their families! Families will move through stations each offering different fitness activities that the children and adults can do together! Please RSVP, so we can prepare accordingly!

TOMORROW (8/20) at 7 PM is Registration/Course Preview Night for the Youth Cross Country Series here at the back field of Sherman Elementary! Next Thursday (8/27) is the FIRST race! 👟👟 This series includes 6 weeks of races - if your runner is interested in getting even MORE involved with running, please see the Elementary Cross Country team flyer attached. They are trying to form a team and there is an interest meeting coming up August 24th!
