12/11 Afterschool Art #4: day 2 🎄 Our artist of the month is Mary Blair! Mary Blair was an American artist, animator, and designer for Walt Disney! She created concept art (first drafts) for movies including Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, and Cinderella! Students took time to create concept art for their Christmas trees and ornaments, so they would have a plan before starting on their final pieces!

A big THANK YOU to the GC Sheriff's Dept., GC Detention Center, Williamstown Police Dept., Dry Ridge Walmart, WUMC, 4-H teen leaders, volunteers, and Grant/Williamstown FRYSC for making today possible! It was a fantastic day to Christmas shop for these AWESOME students and their families!

🎄VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Half day OR full day greatly appreciated! ALL Volunteers MUST have a background check on file for THIS school year with Grant County Schools. Volunteers help students shop and put presents in gift bags. Please contact ME (Mrs. Hamilton) to sign up! Schedule attached.
☃️Each student will get to shop on their scheduled LIBRARY specials day! PTT is using the same company as last year, BUT all items will be DIFFERENT this year, so students are not buying the same items!
☃️Shopping envelopes, list, and more info will be sent home Monday!
☃️NEW OPPORTUNITY: There will be a FAMILY SHOPPING NIGHT to allow siblings to shop, students to shop with their families, and anyone else who wants to come shop! ❄️THURSDAY, DEC 18th from 5-7 PM❄️
