Grant County High School Sources of Strength students have a FUN Saturday planned involving games & mindfulness activities! This program is FREE and a light snack will be provided.

If your family has recently welcomed a baby, CONGRATULATIONS!

The Sherman Family Resource Center received a donation of infant formula and some diapers from United Way - I would love to give it to families who will use it! It will be given out first come, first serve. Please fill out this form if interested!

I also give out baby bags to Sherman families with new littles. If you didn't receive one, also fill this Google Form out!

Food Pantry distribution today 2/17/26 from 2-3:30 PM. Please call 859-824-9739 ext. 4233 before 2 PM to schedule an appointment. Must have a student in Grant County Schools.

Our Third Grade Student Nutrition Advisory Council (SNAC) had a meeting today. They helped our food service director, Mrs. Livingood, work on the menus for next school year! We discovered there is a LOT of planning and thought that goes into it! 🍽

It's Wednesday! We will have Robotics Club today (2/11) after school until 4:30 PM. 🤖Coach Webster

Kids in Motion (health program)
February 24th, 25th, & 26th
Grades 2nd-5th

FREE program! Students will stay after school. Eat a healthy snack. Learn about Physical Health (exercise, sleep, hygiene), Mental Health (managing stress, coping skills), & Nutrition (healthy choices, drinking water). We will also do stretches, play games, do yoga, have discussions, hear from guest speakers and more! Ask Mrs. Hamilton if you have any questions! Space is limited so sign up soon!

The NEXT Background Check Day for Sherman is tomorrow, February 12th! Walk-ins are welcome from 8:30 AM - 3 PM OR at our Family Night (5:30 PM). You will need a valid driver's license and $10 (exact cash or check). Background checks are required for chaperoning, volunteering, coaching, and serving on committees such as PTT or boosters. Contact ME (Mrs. Hamilton) if you would like to schedule an appointment.

School Calendar Update: Because of all the snow, this Friday, February 13th with be a make up day for the district (School is in session). Monday, February 16th & Tuesday, February 17th is Winter Break (No school). Students return February 18th!
