At the regularly called board meeting on Thursday, January 11, 2024, the Grant County Board of Education approved the 2024-2025 and the 2025-2026 school calendar.  

Director of Pupil Personnel, Claudette Herald shared with the board that several districts across the state have two school calendar years ready. "This setup allows our families to know when the district will be starting and ending school and provides the break times as well, families plan vacations around our calendars, so it made sense to operate in this fashion." Mrs. Herald shares. In the future, the calendar committee will work on the second year when they meet, allowing Grant County Schools to always be two years ahead with their school calendar.
