Preschool Information Form


4 year olds can qualify if:

  • They are 4 years old on or before AUGUST 1st of the current school year and your total household income does not exceed 160% of poverty.     2024 / 2025 Income Chart  

OR 

  • They are 4 years old on or before August 1st of the current school year and your family receives SNAP or KTAP 

OR

  • They are 4 years old by August 1st of the current school year with a delay / disability to be determined through a screening / RTI process.

3 year olds can qualify if:

  • Your child is 3 years old by August 1st of the current school year with a delay / disability to be determined through a screening / RTI process.




Preschool screenings: happen throughout the school year for children who are 3 and 4 by August 1st of the current school year.  The screenings look at child development in the following areas: Motor, Self-Help Adaptive Behavior, Concepts, Language / Speech Sounds and Social & Emotional Behavior.

Information on qualifying for Preschool





Dolly Parton Imagination Library is for children who are under the age of five. Once registered your child will receive 1 book a month until they are five years old.  Please visit the website for more information and to register. https://imaginationlibrary.com/kentucky/

2023 - 2024 Preschool Schedule 
Students will be attending 2 full days per week.  The days will either be  "Blue" on Monday & Wednesday or "Gold" on Tuesday & Thursday.     

Williamstown Head Start - is a preschool program for children who are 3 years old and live in Grant County.   To find out more about this program and if your child meetings eligibility guidelines  call 859-824-4174.

Documents Needed for Enrollment

Proof of Residency - Current electric or water bill or current lease agreement with current address
Copy of Valid Photo ID of Parent/Guardian
Copy of Student Social Security Card
Copy of Proof of Custody (if applicable)
Copy of Birth Certificate with seal
Copy of Immunization Records
Copy of Physical
Copy of Vision Screening (Preschool & Kindergarten)
Copy of Dental Screening (Preschool & Kindergarten)
