-PaperCut Mobile Print for Chromebooks

How To Print From A Chromebook


All Grant County School staff have the ability to print from a Chromebook using a built in tool called PaperCut Mobility Print. In order to be successful there are a few requirements to follow.


Important Requirements:


  • Users must physically be on the school district’s campus.

  • Users must be in range to connect to the buildings Wi-Fi

  • Users must be logged into the Chromebook using your school provided account.

  • Users must be logged into Google Chrome browser using your school provided account.

  • Users must make sure the Chromebook is connected to Grant_Wireless Wi-Fi


Step 1: Open the item you wish to print.

    

Step 2: Click the Chrome browser settings icon. and select Print.    
             Note: You can also use the print icon 
or a keyboard Command to print 
crtl + p    

Step 4: Next to Destination, click the drop down, and then select your printer.

             (Follow_Me_Printing-[E201GPRNT])


Step 5: Customize any changes needed to the print settings, and then click Print.


The first time you try printing from a Chromebook you will be prompted to authenticate with the print server.


Step 6: Enter your school email address and password to authenticate.

             Note: You can choose either a direct login or Sign in with Google, both will work.
  Once signed in print jobs are instantly sent to the copier with no popup notification.


Step 7: If you click Sign in with Google you will need to select your school account.

 Step 8: You will need to allow PaperCut Mobility Print to access Google Account.


Once you allow access you will be able to simply print.
Use your login or pin to retrieve your job from the copier.
