What tech equipment is provided?

All Grant County employees have the ability to use their school account to login and access any computer in the district.  All computer equipment is inventoried and monitored. Each user that is assigned equipment is responsible for the care and security of the device.

General Users

• All personnel have access to computers in the district.

• Most personnel are assigned a workstation to perform their daily duties.

• Users that have the need to travel between schools are assigned a laptop or a Chromebook

Teachers

Most teachers are assigned a workstation in the classroom that is connected to a Promethean Activboard\ActivPanel system. Each system is equipped with the following hardware

• Computer

• ActivCart

• Document Camera

• Webcam

Teachers are assigned a Chromebook.

Special Ed Teachers

• Most special education teachers are assigned a workstation in their classroom.

• Most special education teachers have access up to four workstations in the classroom for student work.

• All special education teachers are assigned a Chromebook

In addition to computer and workstations personnel may be assigned other equipment
