-How to get Microsoft Office for free

Microsoft Office Free for HOME Use

 All staff and students in the Grant County School District have access to Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus for their personal devices, at no additional cost. Every staff and students in the district can download Microsoft Office on up to five PCs or Macs, and Office apps on other mobile devices including Windows tablets and iPads, enabling them to get their school work done virtually at any time and from anywhere.    
Students and staff will have access to Office 365 with automatic updates so they will always have the latest version of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access and Publisher. Students and staff will also have access to 1 terabyte of OneDrive cloud storage.
 
To get Office 365 ProPlus for students/staff:
Step 1: Open a web browser to http://www.grant.kyschools.us 

Step 2: Click on the little envelope to access webmail.  

Step 3: enter or select you email address 

Step 4: enter the email address password (same as for network). 

Step 5: You should see your email inbox. 

Step 6:  Go to the App Launcher  (waffle located on top menu bar on left side)

Step 7:   Click Office 365 (located to the right of menu)

Step 8:   Click Install office (on the right)

Step 9:   Click Office 365 apps



Step 10: OfficeSetup.exe should start download in the lower left corner.

Step 11:   Click on Setup.exe to Install

Steps 12: Follow the prompts to complete the Office installation
